Medical Diagnostic Adhesives
DermaMed supports diagnostic adhesive materials used in wearable devices, skin-contact products, and medical testing applications requiring reliable adhesion, flexibility, and application-specific performance requirements.
Through coating, laminating, slitting, and converting capabilities, DermaMed assists clients with identifying adhesive constructions aligned with adhesion levels, flexibility, durability, and device compatibility for diagnostic and medical adhesive applications.
Medical Diagnostic Adhesives

Pressure-sensitive adhesives (PSAs) are commonly used in various in-vitro diagnostic devices such as test strips, lateral flow assays, sensor arrays and microfluidic devices to name a few. PSAs provide essential adhesion and bonding properties in these diagnostic devices.
When selecting a PSA for the construction or assembly of in-vitro diagnostic devices, several requirements should be met to ensure accurate and reliable test results. The PSA being selected should be biocompatible, stable, compatible with diagnostic components, provide adequate adhesion strength, exhibit chemical and temperature resistance, and allow for easy application and assembly.
